Welcome to the Erie TV & Appliance Blog!
Welcome everybody! We will be using this blog to update our customers about what is new with our business. We want to stay connected to you! Here is a little information about our business:
Erie TV & Appliance is an authorized factory servicing dealer which allows us service in and out of warranty appliances in the customer's home. We also sell over the counter parts to supply the “do it yourself” repair person. We are one of Ohio’s largest volume appliance dealers largely due to the fact that we handle scratched and dented appliances at up to 50% off the MSRP.
We also sell closeout and discontinued models. Erie TV & Appliance also handles a full line of the current appliances such as Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, Estate, Frigidaire, and LG and Samsung TVs without freight damage. The freight damaged and non-freight damaged appliances all have a full factory warranty. Our prices are unbeatable,our delivery and hookup is unsurpassed, and our service after the product is purchased is unprecedented.
Now here is a little history:
Erie TV & Appliance began as a family owned and operated business in 1963. We were previously Erie Electronics which provided TV and appliance products and services to Lorain and Erie County. In 1990 the name was changed to Erie TV & Appliance so that consumers would recognize that our business not only offered electronics, but that we also offered the area’s largest selection of appliances.
In 1979 the store changed locations from South Shore Shopping Center, and moved to the current location at 4345 Liberty Avenue in Vermilion Ohio. After many years of community support, we decided to branch out and purchase Harmon’s TV & Appliance in 1995. Harmon’s was an established appliance dealer and service company in Lorain since 1954. We currently own and operate a second retail store at that same location at 2063 Northridge Road in Lorain Ohio. At either location you will be treated like family because we have family members on site at both locations.
